Respectful Relationships: online training program

Respectful Relationships is mandatory for all students commencing from Semester Two, 2019 at our Australian campuses. We also strongly encourage all students at our Australian campuses to complete the program.

The program will provide further support to students to ensure they are aware of the range of services available to assist with trauma and personal wellbeing.

We’ve developed Respectful Relationships to equip students with a clear understanding of what constitutes consent in relationships, and help them effectively understand and communicate with other people regarding sexual relationships.

Respectful Relationships will also equip you with important life skills to support you and those around you in your life as a student, and beyond graduation as you start or continue your career journey.

The content available in the program was developed in consultation with the Curtin Student Guild; Diversity and Inclusion Team; Careers, Employment and Leadership; Psychological and Counselling Services; and the WA Sexual Assault Resource Centre (SARC).
